Bengaluru Bulls defeated UP Yoddha 37-27 in the second match of day 27 of the Pro Kabaddi league season 6 at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
It was a big win for the visiting side. With this defeat, UP Yoddha lose their spot and Bengaluru Bulls climbed to the top of the points table. UP Yoddha also finished their home leg without winning a single game.
Pawan Sehrawat was the top raider for Bengaluru for securing 10 raid points, while Mahender Singh was the pick amongst defenders (6 Tackle points).
The inability of raiders to secure points costed UP Yoddha the result as that was the major difference between the two sides.
UP Yoddha and Bengaluru Bulls have played each other five times in PKL, with Bengaluru winning 4 matches and UP Yoddha winning once.
The first game between the two teams in PKL 2018 ended 35-29 in Bengaluru’s favour. When the two teams last meet, Bengaluru Bulls’ captain Rohit Kumar got his first super 10 of the PKL 2018.
