Brendan Rodgers is rumored to be the new manager of Leicester City after being given the opportunity by Celtic to negotiate with the Premier League club.
The coach, who has handled Swansea City, will bring Chris Davies and Kolo Toure, Rodgers' assistant at Celtic - if he meetsthe agreement with Leicester City.
According to reports, Brendan Rodgers, who is a former manager of Liverpool, told his desire to leave Celtic FC to the officials.
The Scottish League giants did not object to this. Meanwhile, Rodgers' position at Celtic will be temporarily replaced by coach John Kennedy. He will take over Celtic, in the match against Hearts on Thursday.
"Brendan has indicated that this is an opportunity he wishes to investigate further," Celtic said in a statement.
Leicester have just sacked coach Claude Puel on Sundayafter losing 1-4 to Crystal Palace in the 27th round of Premier League match at the King Power Stadium.
The Frenchman stepped down after failing to win in seven matches so Leicester fell to 12th in the Premier League standings.
The 2015-2016 English League champions are now eight points adrift with 18th place relegation occupants, Southampton.
Rodgers still has a contract at Celtic until May 2021. He has handled the team based at Hampden Park Stadium in 169 matches.
They reached the group stages of the Champions League in his first two seasons, but were knocked out in the third qualifying round by AEK Athens this term amid unrest between Rodgers and the Celtic board over a failure to strengthen the squad last summer.
Last week, they bowed out of the Europa League at the last-32 stage for the second successive season, losing to Valencia.
Celtic are eight points clear of nearest rivals Rangers in the league as they chase an eighth successive title.
