Week 5 of the Premier League is not only tricky for the likes of Klopp and Mourinho but also for the managers in Fantasy Premier League. As, after a boring international break and 4 weeks of action already seen, it is the week, where most FPL managers use their first wild card in the Fantasy Premier League.
Although I am not using the Wildcard but here is the team that I would choose if I had used one.
Formation- 3-4-3
Goalkeeper- Petr cech
I Know, I know! Don’t be shocked to see the PL legend, who, has been poor in the past weeks so far.
But, Cech is set to face Newcastle this week and they have been equally pathetic, and we back the Petr to get his first clean sheet of the season.
Centre- Backs- Benjamin Mendy, Holebas, Bolly
Benjamin Mendy (Mancity)
Manchester City are set to take on Fulham this week and one thing that this game guarantees is attacks,
whether, by City or Fulham.
Holebas
Although, Watford face Manchester United this week, weak United’s defence will find it tough to stop the strong attack, consisting of Deeney and Gray. Holebas, might not bring the clean sheet but has a potential of providing points as he is the set-piece taker of the Hornets.
Willy Bolly
Bolly has brought 8 points in the previous 2 weeks of the season and Wolves are set to face a poor Burnley side, who, has looked a shadow of itself, after an amazing season last year.
Centre-midfielders
Pedro, Sterling, Hazard, Lemina
Pedro- At just 6.8 million, Pedro has played in every of the Chelsea’s game so far, giving more than 5 points in 3 occasions so far.
Eden Hazard (Captain)- Watching Hazard play feels like the shackles have finally fallen off the winger with a attacking coach at the Stamford Bridge. The Belgium winger is looking better with each game passing by and Chelsea are set to face a poor Cardiff side. Eden Hazard is a sure shot pick and my captain of my team.
Sterling – Although, there is a doubt whether the winger will play or not but Manchester City’s attack will be licking its lips against a poor defence of Fulham.
Iwobi- Iwobi is back after missing a week of action due to illness, and boy oh boy, Arsenal missed him. The winger provides Arsenal squad the balance Unai Emery craves and has looked impressive in front of goal.
Attack
Dany Ings
At just 5.6 million, Ings has been impressive this season, netting 2 goals in 4 games. Southampton face a Brighton side who have failed to keep a single clean-sheet in the season so far.
Aguero
Aguero is a player, who doesn’t need any reason to be in the team, his form speaks for itself. 3 goals, 2 assists in just 4 games. Fulham’s defenders will be praying that the striker has his rare off days..
Jamie Vardy
Vardy is back this week after an injury lay off and it’s good news for the Fantasy Premier League managers as the striker is a reliable and comparatively cheap option to have in your team.
Vardy will be against a Bournemouth defence, who hasn’t been performing that well in the season.
