There are many players in the English Premier League whose talent's remain hidden that threatens to make their selling prices cheap.
Well, these conditions certainly harm the player. If a player rarely gets minutes to play, it will affect his performance on the green field.
It also has an effect on the selling price or transfer of the player himself. Usually, if players are often in reserve bench or not playing according to expectations, their prices can drop in the market.
Therefore, we will present four Premier League star players who may earn less because they rarely get minutes to play and are already aging.
Mesut Ozil is actually still very much influential in the Arsenal squad. However, he rarely gets minutes to play from the Gunners coach Unai Emery. Though, signing a new contract with the Gunners, Ozil doesn't even belong to Emery's main choice. Judging from the statistics, Ozil only played 19 times in the English Premier League 2018/19 season and managed to score four goals with two assists. Other than that, Ozil is not getting any younger. The German footballer has turned 30 years old. Therefore, it is predicted Ozil's price will drop in the market and may earn less.
Gary Cahill became one of the victims of Maurizio Sarri. As we know, Sarri very rarely rotates and replaces players. Well, Cahill is a victim of Sarri's tactics. In this season, Cahill only played once in the Premier League. Even though, last season when coached by Conte, Cahill still managed the first-team cap and played 27 times. So it is certain that Cahill's current selling price will drop dramatically. Even Cahill himself could have left Chelsea for free because his contract would soon run out at the end of the season.
Serving as the captain of the Manchester United team did not make Antonio Valencia get a prime place in his team. He has to compete with more promising young players, not to mention the 33-year-old footballer has a problem with his injury. Valencia's own contract at Manchester United will end in the summer of 2018/19, meaning he can go on a free transfer at the end of the season. From the existing statistics, Valencia only played five times in the 2018/19 Premier League season, and it was during the era of Jose Mourinho.
Everton left-back, Leighton Baines is also suffering the same fate. Since Everton brought Lucas Digne, Baines is more warming the bench of Merseyside team. Marco Silva prefers to install Digne because he is physically stronger than Baines, and the English footballer is almost 34 years old. In this season, Baines has only played six times in the Premier League. He hasn't even contributed to either scoring goals or assists contribution.
