Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova will miss the upcoming French Open due to an ongoing shoulder injury.
Sharapova, who won the French Open two times in 2012 and 2014, made the announcement on Instagram and shared that she has already returned to the practice court.
The 32-year-old was last seen in action in January at the Australian Open, where she reached the fourth round. The French Open which will be held from May 26 to June 9.
