One of the greatest batsman of all time, Sachin Tendulkar has completed forty-four years on this planet. Born on 24 April 1973, Sachin made his national debut when he was just 16 years old and represented the nation for 24 years. He was the leading run-scorer for India when they won the 2011 World Cup. He is the only cricketer to be conferred with the Bharat Ratna. Some fan-made collage are below.
The biggest thing about the batting maestro is that his contributions to the country is not just limited to runs, he brought the team out of a stage where fixing scandal had left a very bad impression on the world. He also works for the social cause. He was the first person to be nominated by PM Modi for the Swatchha Bharat Abhiyan. He has also donated for building of schools and hospitals. He pays all the expense to his superfan, Sudhir Kumar Chaudhary. Other than all these, He adopted a small village 'Puttamrajuvari Kandrika' in Kerela under the ‘Adarsh Gram Yojana’ and that village gets 24-hour water and electricity supply.
The cricketer also works for the development of other sports and is the co-owner of ISL club Kerela Blaster and works with Nita Ambani for the upliftment of other sports in the country. A very Happy birthday to the real all rounder of the nation.
