Ever since the last episode of the famous talk show “Koffee with Karan,” life has not been the same for Team India’s hot prospects Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul for the controversial statements they made on the show, which has now centered them to the eye of the storm, as they’re bound to miss the ODI series versus Australia as well as the tour to New Zealand, by a letter issued by the BCCI.
Former chief selector of the Indian cricket team, Kiran More has has displayed support towards the all rounder – Hardik Pandya, by stating that the recent turn of events will serve as a major learning curve in Pandya’s career, and he will only grow as an individual and as a player from here onwards.
“We all make mistakes and we all learn from them. He is new to international cricket and I am sure he has learnt his lessons [from this incident]. I am sure, he will be a changed person. We will have a heart-to-heart conversation once he is back. Hardik is a very nice guy and an honest person. He has reached this level purely on his talent and skills. He is a hard worker. His priority is cricket and that will never change till the time he is playing,” the former wicket keeper batsman was quoted saying.
Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul were both parts of the One Day International (ODI) squad for team India, but a suspension in the ODIs against Australia and a tour to New Zealand will now prolong their wait till the home series against Zimbabwe and Australia right before the ICC Cricket World Cup.
