In line with its longtime sports sponsorship, Hero MotoCorp Ltd., the world's leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has expanded its cricket promotion and becomes the title sponsor of the T20 three-country tournament Hero Nidahas Trophy.
The series will take place in Sri Lanka from 6 to 18 March and will be held to celebrate the country's 70th anniversary.
The tournament will be attended by three strong teams from the subcontinent: India, Bangladesh and the host country Sri Lanka. The trophy "Hero Nidahas Trophy" will be played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Following some of the most significant global sporting events, Hero MotoCorp has long been a loyal supporter of various sports disciplines including cricket, golf, football and field hockey.
The in New Delhi -based Hero Moto Corp is more than two decades associated with cricket. The company was one of the worldwide partners in the International Cricket Council. It is currently the title sponsor of the Hero Caribbean Premier League, the leading T20 cricket tournament in the Caribbean.

Hero MotoCorp was one of the main sponsors of the recent Sri Lanka tours of the cricket teams of Australia, the West Indies and England. Sri Lanka is a key market for Hero MotoCorp and the company is already an active sponsor of the sport in the country.
