Taiwan's pair Latisha Chan and Hao-Ching Chan emerged on top of Romania's Monica Niculescu and China's Zhaoxuan Yang in straight sets to proceed to the doubles final at the WTA Hobart International tournament at Domain Tennis Centre. The pair prevailed in successive sets and wrapped the game without breaking much sweat.
The Taiwanese pair had advanced to the doubles semi-finals courtesy withdrawal of their quarter-final opponents, Slovenia's Dalila Jakupovic and USA's Sabrina Santamaria.
