The Badminton season is already on and the All England Open Badminton championships 2019, is about to commence from March 6 but some of our Indian shuttlers are yet to get their flight tickets it seems.
World number 20, and one of India’s entries in the Men’s singles, HS Prannoy took to the social media and had a go at the officials of the Badminton Association of India (BAI) for their inept attitude.
"Supposed to leave for #allengland2019 tomorrow but till now no info about our tickets. Looks like we will reach a day before the matches #sameoldstory," Prannoy wrote on Twitter.

Prannoy missed the Senior Nationals in Guwahati last month due to stomach discomfort and as such he will be looking to make a comeback with his best.
Prannoy will face fellow countrymen B Sai Praneeth in the opening round of the All England on March 6. Other Indian shuttlers have also been handed tricky draws in the World Tour Super 1000 tournament.
The Indian line up at the Championship features Kidambi Srikanth, Sameer Verma in the Men’s singles apart from Prannoy and B Sai Praneeth.
In the women's singles, Olympic silver medalist PV Sindhu, and 2015 All England championship finalist Saina Nehwal will represent the country.
In the Men’s Doubles Manu Attri and Sumeeth B Reddy, In the Women’s Doubles, Ashwini Ponnappa and N SikkiReddy as well as Poorvisha S Ram and Meghana Jakkampudi and the Mixed Doubles pair of N Sikki Reddy & Pranaav Jerry Chopra too make up the Indian line up.
Indians will hope to end an 18-year drought at the championships after P Gopichand took the title in 2001.
