England pacer Liam Plunkett took a sigh of relief after the International Cricket Council (ICC) cleared him of ball-tampering allegations during the second ODI game against Pakistan.
A video of Plunkett scratching the ball was doing rounds on social media, raising questions of a possible ‘ball-tampering’ case.
ICC issued a statement on the same and said, “ICC has confirmed with the match officials that there was no attempt by Plunkett to change the condition of the ball.”
