Beginning the last day from 31-3, Sri Lanka batted the first session of final Test match really well as they just lost one wicket and kept the scoreboard going. Initially, Dhananjaya de Silva and Angelo Mathews tried to defend most of the balls but one good pitched delivery from birthday boy Ravindra Jadeja took outside edge of Mathews and he caught out by Rahane at slip position.
The ball on which Mathews got out was a no ball but umpire did not recognize it at that moment and he had to go back to the dressing room.
Some overs before Lunch, Jadeja also got the wicket of Dinesh Chandimal but unfortunately it turned out as a no ball again and Chandimal revived.
Presently, Dhananjaya de Silva and Dinesh Chandimal are at the crease and both are showing their hands on the crease by playing all the shots. At Lunch, Sri Lanka are batting at 119 runs and have lost four wickets. They still need 291 more runs to win the match or will try to defend their 6 wickets to save this Test match from losing away.
