Indian women’s hockey team ended their South Korea tour with a 1-1 draw in the final match to win the 5-match series by 3-1 in Seoul on Sunday.
The first three quarters of the match remained goalless as both the teams were looking to set up their attacks in the beginning and the patient approach from both the teams took them to the fourth quarter without scoring any goal. But then the visitors looked a bit more determined and started passing the ball quickly which helped them scoring the first goal of the match in the 48th minute, courtesy Vandana Katariya.
However, the lead got equalised by the hosts just after two minutes of the first goal, as South Korea’s Bomi Kim (50′) scored the first goal for the side.
In the final minutes of the match, both the team tried to capitalise the opportunity to win the match but ended up sharing the honours 1-1.
