Malaysian shuttler Lee Chong Wei will be missing out on the World Championships in August. This comes as a major blow to the former World No.1 as he may not be able to compete in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
After falling down the rankings following a prolonged absence due to cancer, he will have to wait further before competing in the World Championships. At present, Lee Zii Jia and Liew Daren are ranked above him and will be representing Malaysia.
