Real Madrid yesterday announced the signing of Thibaut Courtois for an undisclosed price, plus Matteo Kovacic going the other way on loan. Belgium goalkeeper spent 6 years at Chelsea replacing legendry goalkeeper Peter Cech at Stamford Bridge.
During his 6 year spell 6’6 goalkeeper lifted two Premier League titles, an F.A Cup and a League Cup. It's fair to say he was a successful goalkeeper during his time at west London.
However, football fans can be very unforgiving as, former Chelsea goal keeper Courtois did what every player does after serving a club for so long, he took to social media to post a goodbye message.
In it, the 26-year-old says that: "I hope you understand that being closer to my kids was considerable in my decision."

But this message did not go down well with Blues fans, who felt that Courtois angling for a move away was in poor taste. Even replies to Real's announcement tweet were plagued by angry Chelsea fans.
Unfortunately, that message was deleted by the ex Atletico and Chelsea goalkeeper, about 30 minutes later for reasons unknown at this point.
