According to me, West Indies wouldn't be able to win against New Zealand. New Zealand is a more complete and all-around team, a better team.
The win against South Africa would give them a lot of confidence. The way Kane Williamson batted was special. Colin De Grandhomme also scored a brilliant knock and was also able to. Ross Taylor, Colin Munro, and Martin Guptill have all scored runs in this tournament.
The two all-rounders in Jimmy Neesham and De Grandhomme have performed well for New Zealand. In the bowling department, Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson, and Matt Henry, all have fared well so far.
On the other hand, Windies have been very inconsistent in this tournament. Even after scoring 321 against Bangladesh, they weren't able to secure a win. When they bowl well, they are bad with the bat and when they score well, they are terrible with the ball.
They are almost out of the tournament after losing matches consecutively. When that happens the mental strength of Windies also takes a dip. I'd be surprised if they are able to pull off a win against New Zealand.
