It's almost quite certain that India is going to go for a heavy win versus Afghanistan.
If India is going to bat first, I think it’s safe to say that the in-form Rohit Sharma might eye that fourth double hundred.
Rashid Khan has been struggling in the World Cup so far, and that is an area for concern for Afghanistan. There are problems within the Afghanistan dressing room which we all know about.
Talking about India, I feel that they have to play ruthless cricket just like what England did against Afghanistan. Team India needs to invoke fear and hence I feel Rishabh Pant needs to be given a go.
The reason why I say that is because batsmen such as Kedar Jadhav haven’t been tested so far, and if a situation in the business end of the tournament arises where you’re 30 for 3 then there might be a problem for India.
So India needs to get every player tested, be it by promoting some of the batsmen up the order, or by involving Pant into the playing XI.
