Pakistan might have a glimmer of hope to enter into the semis especially after Sri Lanka managed to topple England not so long ago.
But they will have to put in a shift against South Africa because Sarfaraz Ahmed along with his teammates is constantly being criticized and trolled. So, it’s about how they take that criticism and hate into the field.
South Africa, on the other hand, did have an opportunity to scrape a win against New Zealand but they just didn’t pounce on the number of opportunities they had.
So, the same question arises for South Africa as well, as to how they approach this game.
I have a feeling that Pakistan does still have some fight remaining in them, and with quality players such as Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, and Mohammad Amir in the line-up, they might end up nicking a win against the Proteas.
We all know that Pakistan tends to outdo themselves when their backs are against the wall and that is why I believe that they’re the favourites against South Africa.
