It was a good game between the West Indies and Sri Lanka as it went right down the wire.
Sri Lanka scored 338, while West Indies ended up scoring 315. Theoretically, mathematically Sri Lanka is not out of the tournament.
Nicholas Pooran scored a solid century for his side but was unable to finish the game in their favour.
Chris Gayle and Shai Hope not doing much in the beginning has been a problem for West Indies as well.
West Indies started off their campaign in a grand manner by a thumping win against Pakistan.
But the story of resurgence has taken a serious beating in this tournament that it has discredited West Indies cricket to a great extent.
On the other side, after the England win, this is yet another big win for Sri Lanka, and they would like to fight tooth and nail in the final game against India as they somehow are still in contention in making it to the semis.
