Australia seemed to have got back in the game in the first 25 overs of the second innings after scalping the top 3 of the Indian cricket team. It all started with Nathan Coulter Nile picking the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan on the very first ball, through a comfortable catch taken by Glenn Maxwell in the cover region.
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma then got out there in the middle and put the pressure back on the Aussies through boundaries and sixes of their own which at one stage seemed like the Indians were cruising to an emphatic win.
Kohli smashed the wrist spinner – Adam Zampa for two boundaries back to back, before getting dismissed for 44 (45) on the third delivery through an LBW. The tables seemed to have turned in favor of the visitors ever since, as Coulter Nile got back in the attack to get rid of Rohit Sharma for 37 (66). Ambati Raydu was looking settled on 13 (19) with two boundaries under his belt. But that’s when Adam Zampa got back into the mix and got him out caught behind, as Team India still look stamp their authority in the game with them being 132 runs away from victory. The score for now is on 105 for the loss of 4 wickets with MS Dhoni 7 (14) and Kedar Jhadav 2 (5) on the crease.
