Cleveland Cavaliers's foward Larry Nance Jr. has suffered a sprained right MCL. He is, thus, expected to miss out on action for around two to four weeks as indicated by the team announced on January 10.
Nance, 26, underwent an MRI after leaving Cleveland's loss to Indiana on January 8. The youngster didn't feature in his side's clash versus New Orleans on January 9. The team management has revealed that he will undergo treatment and rehabilitation, and his status will be updated accordingly.
Nance, who signed a four-year, $45 million contract extension in October, is averaging 8.8 points and 7.5 rebounds for Cleveland this season.
Meanwhile, a throwback to Nance's dunk on Brook Lopez which left many shell shocked.
The Cavaliers are 8-34 and have been beset with injuries, including to All-Star forward Kevin Love.
