Liverpool winger, Sadio Mane, has claimed that he not affected by rumours of interest in him by the Spanish giants, Real Madrid.
Mane said his decision to extend the contract until 2023 was proof of loyalty to Liverpool.
"Speculation is part of football. You just have to get used to it and not be too serious about it," sadio Mane said.
"What I can say is that Liverpool are the only team on my mind. I am happy here and I think Liverpool supporters are like that too," added the Liverpool star.
Mane then told about the process of extending his contract with the Merseyside club in November 2018.
"Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino first extended the contract. After that, I felt everyone asked 'when will you do that?'" Mane said.
"I want to end those feelings by joining in signing a contract. I am happy to do that," added the Liverpool winger.
Furthermore, Mane hopes his wait for the first trophy at Liverpool could end this season.
"I can't wait to lift the trophy at Liverpool. I know, the fans really want to see us as the Premier League champions ," Mane said.
"We are sure this season has gone in the right direction. Becoming a Premier League champion is a special moment for Liverpool.
"A team as big as Liverpool should not be too long to win the championship," the Senegalese player added.
Liverpool did have a great opportunity to become Premier League champions this season.
Until the 23rd week of the current term, Liverpool are still at the top of the standings with a collection of 60 points.
The Reds are four points ahead of the defending champions, Manchester City, who are ranked second in the table.
