Following back to back commanding shows in their previous two matches, an in-form India will take on Bangladesh in the final league game of the ongoing Nidahas Trophy on Wednesday in Colombo. With four points in two matches along with a healthy net run-rate, India's place in the final is almost certain. However, a triumph against the Tigers will ensure it and the Rohit Sharma-led side is aiming for that.
Bangladesh, on the other, will be confident following the sensational run-chase of 215 in their previous game against Sri Lanka. They will come to hard and try and play their aggressive brand of cricket. But the Mahmudullah-led team knows that the Indian side is a tough nut to crack.
Meanwhile, following a below-par show in this T20I tri-series, Bangladesh think-tank ming want to look for a replacement of pacer Taskin Ahmed. Young Abu Jayed is likely to be given a chance in his place. Also, it will be interesting to notice whether Liton Das continues to open for them or Soumya Sarkar partners Tamim Iqbal at the top.
In the Indian camp, there is a chance of all-rounder Deepak Hooda and pacers Mohammed Siraj are being considered for this game in place of KL Rahul and Jaydev Unadkat respectably.
However, the met department has predicted rain during this fixture. So, both skippers will look to field first tomorrow as chasing side gets a huge advantage in a stop-start game.
