The start of the fourth match of the ongoing Nidahas Trophy between India and Sri Lanka, has been delayed due to a constant drizzle in Colombo. Currently, the covers are on the field and the toss has been delayed. Though the drizzle is not heavy, but the groundsmen are taking no chances. The players are currently out in there in the field, warming up.
It is an important match in the competition considering the fact that all three teams in this T20I tri-series have won one match each. If this match gets rained off then points will be shared between India and Sri Lanka, which will make Bangladesh's chances of making it to the final very bleak.
Meanwhile, with skipper Dinesh Chandimal suspended for two games due to a serious over-rate offence, Thisara Perera will lead Sri Lanka today. Dhananjaya de Silva is likely to come in the playing XI in Chandimal's position. There is also a chance of Suranga Lakmal replacing either Dushmantha Chameera or Nuwan Pradeep.
