Going behind 1-0 to a wonderfulCristiano Ronaldo volley, Juan Mata scored a free kick four minutes from time before Leonardo Bonucci put the ball into his own net amid a scramble.
After the final whistle, Mourinho raced onto the pitch in Turin and cupped his ears to the home support after being taunted during the game.
Mourinho’s celebration angered a number of Juve players as he clashed with Leonardo Bonucci and Paulo Dybala before eventually being escorted down the tunnel.
And Scholes was not impressed with the Portuguese and reckoned he should have shown a bit more class.
The former Man United star said, “It’s not necessary for Jose to do that, but it’s everywhere he goes though.
“You need to win with a bit of class sometimes and just shake the manager’s hand.
“There’s no need for it but that’s just the way he is.”
In the post-match press conference, Mourinho though claimed he was simply responding to being ‘insulted for 90 minutes’.
“I probably shouldn’t have done it, and with a cool head I wouldn’t have done it, but with my family insulted, including my Inter family, I reacted like this,” the Portuguese explained.
United are back in action on Sunday when they make the trip across Manchester to face City at the Etihad Stadium in the first derby of the season.
