Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman were served notices by the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Ombudsman-cum-Ethics Officer Justice DK Jain for their alleged ‘conflict of interest’.
Tendulkar is Mumbai Indians’ mentor and Laxman is Sunrisers Hyderabad’s mentor and also members of Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC).
Earlier, Sourav Ganguly, former India skipper, also had to appear before Jain to give his testimony for his roles as a Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) member, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president, and also an adviser of Delhi Capitals.
