Before the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 commences in a few days, the captains of the 10 nations were asked an interesting question as to who is that one player they would want in their team from the competing camps. Here are the answers to that question.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli was quick to opt for South African skipper Faf du Plessis'services as his IPL teammate AB de Villiers has retired from international cricket.
“It is very difficult to choose someone. We feel we are such a strong side. But if I have to choose one from the current lot... since AB (de Villiers) is retired now, I would choose Faf (du Plessis),” shared Kohli.
Faf du Plessis, on the other hand, opted for bowlers such as Jasprit Bumrah and Rashid Khan with Kohli in his “batting team.”
New Zealand'sKane Williamson chose Rashid Khan as well, while Bangladesh's Mashrafe Mortaza opted for Kohli in his side.
