Anthony Martial has already achieved a lot in the game of football, he became the most expensive teenager in the footballing world in 2014, when Manchester United signed him from Monaco for a fee that could see Monaco get around 70 million euros.
Who can forget the 19 year old’s debut goal against Manchester United’s arch rivals Liverpool? Where he picked the ball from left wing and drifted inside taking the most experienced Liverpool defender Martin Skirtle for a ride and placing the shot in right bottom corner of the Liverpool’s goal. Martial retained his starting berth at Manchester United under new manager Jose Mourinho, starting ahead of in-form teammate Marcus Rashford on the left wing for the opening few games of the season. The forward, however, lost his place in the starting lineup after several underwhelming performances, with the club tentatively attributing Martial's difficulties to ongoing problems in his personal life. Martial’s goals dried in his first season under Jose with French man only scoring 4 goals in 25 appearances.
Anthony Martial was back to his best in the 2nd season under the Portuguese manager as he scored 4 goals in the first 7 games of the season and also sealed some single handed victories for the Old Trafford side against the likes of Swansea and Bournemouth. Martial has also been criticised publically in after match press conferences by his manager Jose Mourinho. We have seen other players of Matial’s age like Leroy Sane, Mbappe or Leon Bailey surpass him but is it fair to blame the French 22 year old winger?

Martial is not short of suitors with the likes of Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and when asked about selling him another fan said, It will be a bigger mistake than the Pogba one(referring to letting him leave for Juventus on free).

It is being reported that Jose Mourinho is ready to sell the French man if a club outside England makes an offer close to 70 million euros. Manchester United’s board should realize what they are losing with selling Martial. Mourinho won’t be at United for more than 2 more years but Martial who is just 22 can give his prime years for 8-10 years.
