Swiss great Roger Federer will take on World No.1 Novak Djokovic in the men’s singles final of the Wimbledon 2019. Federer will aim to lift a record-extending ninth trophy while defending champion Djokovic, will look to retain his crown.
In the semi-finals, Federer defeated Rafael Nadal of Spain. Federer triumphed 7-6 (7-3), 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 against his arch-rival. On the other hand, Djokovic ousted another Spaniard, Roberto Bautista Agut 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
