Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and opted to field first. Rohit Sharma (140) helped India post 336 in their 50 overs. Mohammad Amir (3/47) was the pick of bowlers for Pakistan.

Pakistan lost wickets in regular intervals and eventually made 212/6, 89 runs short of the revised total of 302 in 40 overs.
