ICC has refused to change the LED bails in the ongoing World Cup. The bails are manufactured by Zings, a firm based in Port Adelaide, Australia. The tournament has already witnessed five instances where the ball has hit the stumps without the bails being removed.
David Ligertwood, director at Zing, said that they are currently monitoring the situation. Meanwhile, ICC has said, “We wouldn’t change anything mid-event, the equipment is the same for all the teams across all 48 games.”
