The second T20I game between India & Australia ended in 'no result' and was called off due to an interruption caused by rain. Batting first, Australia managed to score a modest total of 132 for the loss of 7 wickets in 19 overs. The players had to leave the field after the 19th over as it began to pour heavily. Indian bowlers Kuldeep Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed, Krunall Pandya, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a tight line and did not give momentum to the Aussie batsmen. Hero of the first match Glenn Maxwell failed to replicate his success in the second game and got dismissed at the score of 19. Ben McDermott stabled the Australian inning before the players had to run back to their dressing rooms because of heavy rain.
The umpires tried to start the game by revising the targets twice for team India but failed to do so. In the end, the match was abandoned.
