Ellyse Perry takes 'Sydney Sixers' to WBBL semi-finals

A conversation of Women's cricket is inadequate without the mention of Australian great Ellyse Perry. With her performance in the ongoing edition of Women's Big Bash League has shown everyone that she indeed is 'one of the greatest cricketers of this generation'. Perry scored a scintillating half-century in the semi-final against Melbourne Renegades & took her team to the finals. 

She struck a six in the 'Super Over' and made history as Sydney Sixers got into its fourth WBBL Final. With an unbeaten knock of 61, Perry became the first woman to make 700+ runs in the WBBL history. This season - 751 runs, Avg. - 80+, Hundreds - 2. 

Her team will now face Brisbane Heat in the star-studded final of Women's Big Bash League.
