The month of February will always be special for Indian leg-spinner Anil Kumble. On February 7, 1999, India's legendary spinner Anil Kumble became the second bowler in the history of Test cricket to take 10 wickets of an innings. India gave a huge total of 420 to the Men in Green and their chances of drawing the match on the final day were utterly smashed by the spinner.

From 101/0, Pakistan crumbled to 128/6 after a century stand between Saeed Anwar and Shahid Afridi. Wasim Akram put in a bit of presence, but that was not enough as Kumble pierced through the Pakistan line-up. With the wicket of Akram, India won the historic Test match by 212 runs.

Kumble picked up all the 10 wickets and gave away just 74 runs in his spell of 26 overs.
